Our large 35 pitch campsite with newly refurbished hot showers, toilets, cold storage and drying room is set in the beautiful grounds of Dalegarth Guesthouse and laid out on four flat terraces, nestled below the peak of Robinson in a tranquil woodland setting, completely sheltered and a real suntrap, only 2 minutes walk from the lake edge.
There is a washing up area, drinking water point and bins for rubbish disposal and recycling.
And don't forget to look out for Cosmo & Dibs the campsite cats.
Outside of the school summer holidays we also offer a selection of food for you the camper. Breakfast baps, soup, tea, coffee and homemade snacks etc. There is also an indoor communal social area for campers, just in case the weather turns bad. We also have plans for 2012 to set up a small food and camping accessory store on site.
Well behaved Dogs are most welcome.
Camping is £7 per person per night for adults and £3 per night to under 12s.
